Focused and driven, Zain Meghji, strives to successfully reach each goal he sets for himself; including his most recent goal to be on the country’s number one network. A “jack of all trades”, Meghji has worked in most aspects of the entertainment industry, but finds his place at eTalk after years of teaching, acting, directing and hosting.

“eTalk continually promotes the success of Canada’s arts and culture here at home and on a global scale,” says Meghji. “Being a part of the eTalk team allows me to foster a strong sense of community for myself and others as we celebrate our own artists.”

Meghji’s passion for entertaining began with theatre. As a teenager in Vancouver, he acted in high school productions, then took a turn at directing theatrical productions while attending the University of British Columbia. After graduation, Meghji worked professionally as an actor and director with several Vancouver theatre companies.

Since then, Meghji’s adventures have taken him around the world. He appeared in national TV commercials, acted in three films, taught high school drama in Swindon, England and was the host of “Live Eye” at Vancouver’s Breakfast Television.

When he’s not travelling to interviews in New York and L.A., Meghji voraciously immerses himself in entertainment by watching TV, surfing the internet, reading anything from fiction to personal development, and taking in movies and stage productions. He also has a weekly entertainment segment on Vancouver’s CFUN 1410.

With his current role as a reporter at eTalk, Meghji’s continued goal is to inform and entertain; and with his knack for story telling and engaging viewers he has quickly become a well-known and recognizable face on Canadian television.
