Lights, camera, action baby! It’s that time of year once again where the stars descend into Toronto and bring a little bit of the Los Angeles glamour to our city streets. With stars like Reese Witherspoon, George Clooney, and Charlize Theron this year’s Toronto International Film Festival is sure to out shine anything our city has ever seen. Not to be out done, this year’s Etalk/Star! Schmooze is going to bring some of the biggest stars together for one of the most exciting parties of the year!
Last year I got to attend my first ever Schmooze! Luckily for me I didn’t have to work the show, or cover the party for Star! Daily, so I got to go behind the scenes and see the stars spending time away from the cameras and socializing with their fellow celebrities. I even got a chance to catch up with Shawn Ashmore while hanging around the party… but this year, who knows who’ll show up!
I haven’t kept it any secret that I’m a huge supporter of Miss Hilary Duff. If you haven’t heard Hilary will be performing live at the Etalk/Star! Schmooze. I’m very excited to see the performance. Hilary may not be the greatest musical star of our time, and she may not go down in history as more than a pretty girl who made some movies and some music, but I’m definitely a fan of her latest record.
I don’t know what song Hilary intends on performing to kick off the night but I can guarantee that with her album Dignity full of awesome pop hits, it’ll definitely be the right way to start off the night!
