DMB rocked their scheduled concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles that evening, paying tribute to their fallen friend. "We all had some bad news today," a somber Matthews told the crowd. "Our good friend LeRoi Moore passed on and gave his ghost up today and we will miss him forever." "It's always easier to leave than be left," Matthews said after the group played a few songs. The Charlottesville, Virgina-born band is one of the top 100 highest selling acts of all time with more than 31 million units sold.
