The show must go on...

Dave Matthews Band founder and saxophonist LeRoi Moore died Tuesday morning – His death, a tragedy. His spirit, celebrated.

DMB rocked their scheduled concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles that evening, paying tribute to their fallen friend.

"We all had some bad news today," a somber Matthews told the crowd. "Our good friend LeRoi Moore passed on and gave his ghost up today and we will miss him forever."

The late 46-year-old musician was injured in June during an ATV accident, and although he recovered, complications appeared leading to his death, according to the Associated Press.

"It's always easier to leave than be left," Matthews said after the group played a few songs.

The Charlottesville, Virgina-born band is one of the top 100 highest selling acts of all time with more than 31 million units sold. Songs "Satellite", "Crash Into Me", "What Would You Say" and "Dream Girl" are some of their most popular.
