Damon clan welcomes baby girl
Thursday, August 21, 2008The Hollywood baby boom continues... Matt Damon, 37, and wife Luciana Barroso, 32, welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday, Aug. 20, according to the Associated Press. The actor's spokesperson, Jennifer Allen, said the couple's second child, Gia Zavala, "is a healthy, beautiful baby." Gia joins biological sister Isabella, 2, and half-sister Alexia, 10. Damon met Luciana in 2003 while shooting the not-so critically acclaimed film Stuck On You in Miami Beach. Two years later they tied the knot in Manhattan's City Hall. The Massachusetts-born talent is best known for playing Jason Bourne in the Bourne trilogy. As one of the 25 highest grossing actors of all time, who carries numerous awards including an Academy Award for Good Will Hunting, he is considered the pinnacle of Hollywood's A-list.
