Thursday, October 23, 2008The anticipation is coming to an end of whether Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will tie the knot: According to the Changeling star, marriage is inevitable for the couple. "Usually people fall in love and everything revolves around the ritual of marriage, children are an afterthought. We did everything backwards," Jolie told Italian Vanity Fair. The 33-year-old actress and Pitt, 44, started dating in 2005 after filming action comedy Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Ever since they've been dubbed one of Hollywood's most powerful couples. They now have six children together including; adopted kids Maddox, 7, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3, and biological children Shiloh, 2, and newborn twins Knox and Vivienne. "Sooner or later it will be the kids who ask us (to get married). You know, they see films and start asking questions. Such as, 'Why are Shrek and Fiona married and you're not?'" Jolie said. So a wedding isn't far away, but, as the human rights activists go, one issue is hindering their vows. "Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able," Pitt said referring to gay rights. Summary by: Jocelyn Nespiak for Star!
