Thursday, November 06, 2008Actress Kim Cattrall let the cat out of the bag! A Sex and the City: The Movie sequel is in the works – and expected to be another box office hit. The 52-year-old British-Canadian let the official news slip during an interview on Britain's The Paul O-Grady Show, with special guest-host and former Spice Girl Melanie Brown. "Will there be a sequel?" Brown asked. "Yes there will!" Cattrall replied. Warner Bros. and HBO have yet to announce the return, but the anticipation is building: The first SATC big screen hit theatres in May 2008; four years after the show wrapped up, and has grossed more than $400 million worldwide - tripling the projected sales and becoming a blockbuster hit.
