Richie Sambora Busted for DUI
Thursday, March 27, 2008Two-time rehab attendee Richie Sambora is in the tabloids again, and this time it’s for DUI. The rocker was stopped by Laguna Beach cops shortly before 11:00 p.m. Tuesday night after swerving in his Hummer. Laguna Beach PD Sgt. Jason Kravetz said "He failed numerous field sobriety tests and was detained for DUI. At the station Sambora opted to take a blood test rather than blow into a breathalyzer.” The story gets worse: Apparently, Sambora was not alone in the car, but was driving his daughter, Ava, 10, along with another juvenile and an adult woman. Police sources say the cops called Heather Locklear, Ava's mom. We're told Heather authorized the woman in the car to drive her daughter home.
