Tuesday, April 22, 2008Hollywood's newest bachelor is rapper Kanye West, as he and fiancée, designer Alexis Phifer, ended their relationship last week. "Its always sad when things like this end," Phifer told PEOPLE. "I wish him the best in the future." Their on-and-off romance began in 2002. Four years later the 30-year-old musical icon committed and proposed to the fashion artist while on vacation at the island of Capri. But for the last year and a half, the couple has't spent much time together. "Kanye is possessed by the tour and everything going on and just couldn't keep [the relationship] going," a source told US Weekly. At the "Evenings in Vogue" event on Thursday night, Phifer was wearing a bare ring finger. However, it doesn't mean their romance is truly over.
