Scarlett and Ryan engaged
Tuesday, May 06, 2008Another Hollywood engagement... Ryan Reynolds popped the question to sweetheart Scarlett Johansson over the weekend. The couple announced they're officially engaged at Monday night's Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. 'They’re both thrilled,' said Marcel Pariseau, the actress's representative to People.com. Their romance started in February 2007, after Reynolds and longtime girlfriend, Alanis Morissette, split. Six months later the Definitely, Maybe star was spotted moving into Johansson's home. A proposed wedding date has not been set, as both actors are busy with their careers. The 23-year-old New Yorker has an album debut of Tom Waits covers coming up on May 20 entitled, Anywhere I Lay My Head. The 31-year-old Canadian is currently filming (no pun intended) The Proposal with Sandra Bullock. |
