Thursday, July 03, 2008A rumour once denied, twice denied... and a third time... well... how can it not be true? For the past month Madonna's spokesperson, Liz Rosenberg, has issued denial statements in response to the singer's apparent separation from husband Guy Ritchie. RECAP: The 49-year-old blonde beauty hasn't been wearing her wedding ring, however as Rosenberg told People.com, "Madonna has rarely worn a wedding band over these last six years...". Madge also consulted British divorce lawyer, Fiona Shackleton - who represented Paul McCartney and Prince Charles, which Rosenberg had "no comment" about. And at the brunt of the rumours... Alex Rodriguez. The fiery femme and New York Yankees star have been spotted together these past few weeks. Rosenberg claims the pair are just friends (having been introduced through their manager Guy Oseary) but recent news adds spice to that denial. According to The Associated Press, A-Rod and his wife Cynthia called it quits this week after having problems for about three months. The couple, who just welcomed their second child in April, married in 2002. Rodriguez hasn't addressed the Madonna rumours, yet, but he probably should. Summary by: Jocelyn Nespiak for Star!
