Thursday, July 10, 2008Courtney Cox is making "friends" with the hit comedy Scrubs. According to Entertainment Weekly, the 44-year-old actress is set to star in three-episodes of the Emmy Award-winning TV show. As the new Chief of Medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital her character will "ruffle feathers," reports an insider. Cox, also known as Courtney Cox Arquette after marrying David Arquette in 1999, is famous for her 10-year role as Monica Geller in one of TV's most popular sitcoms Friends. Since the show ended in 2004, the Alabama-born beauty has mainly focused on family, while taking small roles in TV and movies. However, in 2007 Cox was offered a starring role in the promising small-screen drama Dirt, but after two seasons of playing Lucy Spiller, the show was cancelled. Summary by: Jocelyn Nespiak for Star!
