Hosted by JD Roberto, this one-hour program also features Idol alums Constantine Maroulis and Gina Glocksen who join as co-hosts for the 2008 season. Roberto will interview each week's eliminated contestant, from the American Idol Extra Lounge, in what becomes the first full-length interview these newly-voted off participants engage in. The show also features performances and guest appearances by former Idols including William Hung, Melinda Doolittle, Ruben Studdard and Chris Richardson. Judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul - along with audience members - also provide commentary and of course their forthright criticisms just minutes after the results show tapings. You just never know what American Idol Extra cameras will capture backstage and/or who will make their Idol return!
